42 North Dental Names New CEO as Geoff Ligibel Steps Down

42 North Dental, a leading dental support organization (DSO) with over 100 practice locations in New England, has announced a significant leadership transition. Effective September 1, 2026, Geoff Ligibel, CEO for the past 12 years, will step down. David Fusco, who previously held the position of President, will succeed Ligibel as the new CEO.

Under Ligibel's leadership, 42 North Dental has grown into a recognized dental leader in the Northeast, known for its high-quality care and commitment to patient well-being. Ligibel will continue to support the transition in the coming weeks and will remain a shareholder and long-term supporter of the company.

The company has also appointed several new leaders to key roles:

- David Fusco will take on the role of CEO. Fusco joined 42 North Dental as Chief Administrative Officer and was named President earlier this year. He brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership, having held positions such as Chief Human Capital Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, COO, President, and CEO in both public and private organizations. - Dr. Michael Scialabba will become President. He has been with 42 North Dental for more than nine years and will continue to serve as Chief Clinical Officer while assuming new responsibilities for Corporate Growth and Development, Integrations, and Procurement. In addition to these new roles, he will continue to oversee Government Affairs, Facilities, and Compliance. Dr. Scialabba also serves as Chairman of the Board of Registration in Dentistry for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. - Brinda Subbiah will expand her role to become Chief Operations and Financial Officer. She joined the organization six months ago as Chief Financial Officer and will now lead Operations in addition to overseeing Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Payor Strategy, IT, and AI. Subbiah brings over 20 years of leadership experience across public, private, and PE-backed healthcare enterprises. - Nick Shusas, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, and Tracy Ziskovsky, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, will join the company's Executive Leadership Team, both reporting to David Fusco.
