ROCK HILL, S.C., Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- 3D Systems, a leading provider of 3D printing technologies and solutions, has unveiled a new Industrial Technology Center in Littleton, Colorado. This expansion is aimed at bolstering the company’s domestic manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the aerospace, defense, and semiconductor equipment sectors.

The new facility, located in Littleton, Colorado, adds approximately 50,000 square feet of production and office space to the company’s existing infrastructure. This expansion brings the total manufacturing capacity of 3D Systems to around 270,000 square feet across its operations in Europe and the United States. The new center is designed to support the development, qualification, and production of mission-critical components using 3D printing, thereby enhancing supply chain resilience and addressing the growing demand for secure, domestic manufacturing solutions.

Reji Puthenveetil, Executive Vice President of Additive Solutions at 3D Systems, emphasized the importance of this expansion.

The new center is built to support highly regulated and mission-critical applications, including ISO9001 / AS9100D certification, ITAR registration, and CMMC Level 2 compliance. These certifications ensure that the facility can handle the stringent requirements of aerospace, defense, and semiconductor equipment manufacturers, providing a pathway from concept development through qualified production.

The expansion of the Littleton campus is part of 3D Systems' broader strategy to support the industrial base by offering a comprehensive domestic metal additive manufacturing ecosystem. This includes metal additive system development, large-format printer manufacturing, and application development, qualification, and certified parts production. The company aims to help customers innovate more quickly while strengthening the resilience of critical American manufacturing supply chains.

For 40 years, 3D Systems has been at the forefront of additive manufacturing, driven by the curiosity and innovation of its founder, Chuck Hull. The company continues to deliver industry-leading 3D printing technologies, materials, and software to high-value markets such as medical and dental, aerospace, space, and defense, transportation and motorsports, AI infrastructure, and durable goods.
